A Tribute to the giant of Creole Cuisine and Culture this commissioned work is 14 x 30 ft and depicts Mrs. Leah Chase

in the kitchen of Dooky's Restaurant. Inside the dining room, you can see civil rights leaders who once met

meals in the space and artwork by black artists collected by Mrs. Chase herself. This Piece was created on canvas and stretched on site and was contributed to by many members of the Chase family and the New Orleans community.
